You couldn't get Naked Enough? So you had to get Naked Twice? LOL So the Naked Palette from Urban Decay is AWESOME! You thought you liked the first Naked Palette you are going to Love the second. I own both and let me tell you some of the differences. In the first brown Naked palette the shades of eyeshadow are softer and have more shimmer in them. . With Naked 2 there are more Matte shades and a Matte black that I love. Both palettes are versatile and useful for various shading and color applications. Keep in mind that both palettes are Neutral but if you had to buy one I would pick the original naked because it features colors that have a more satin shimmer finish. The starting colors of the original palette like virgin and sin have a pearl satin finish that I love. Both Palettes are around 50 dollars which is perfect because all the eye shadows are full sized and multifunctional. So over all impression A grade. It is awesome I just wish more shades had that pearl finish because that type of finish lasts a longer time and it is beautiful. How ever for more oiler lids I think you would like the Naked 2 palette that has a lot of matte shades in it. Comment if you want swatches!

Bronzer swatch is not so great because the bronzer does not come out so pigmented

 So it is summer and most of us want bronzed skin. Well run to the drugstore NYC Sunny Bronzer is Perfect and Cheap. The bronzer runs for about 2-3 dollars at most drugstores. Is it incredibly pigmented... no! is it orange/red based ...no! But it is similar to a terracotta color that is more on the brown side and features no shimmer because it is matte. Because the product is so pressed into the packaging you won't get a lot of pigmentation. But that is ok because you always want to build the color. If you have a heavy hand when applying makeup this bronzer is ok for you. It is also a very cheap alternative for people that usually don't wear bronzer and just want a slightly tanner complexion. Over All rating B- if you compare this bronzer to alot of high end bronzers it is not the best. But for the money it is worth trying out. I don't like the fact that it is so densely packed. But I do like the color range. You can buy it at any drugstore.

Aren't we all looking for a great concealer? That is true! This isn't it. This creases like crazy! The uses of this chubby concealer pencil is to cover blemishes, dark spots, and circles. I use it to cover my under eye area and it does an amazing job. I look so young and my eyes look so bright. But it creases under my eye. Not so bad to the point that I have to check every 5 minutes but I do swipe my ring finger every couple of hours. The formula is creamy and smooth and pretty opaque as you can see from my swatches. I have the color CIA it is one of the lightest colors so its good for highlighting and covering up dark under eye bags. However it is not good for blemishes if you are NC30-35 like me this is way tooo! light for pimples! This product is yellow based so it is great for Asian skin on yellow based skin tones. Over all impression C * I need to buy a sharpener for this thing and It creases but my eyes look really awake. I am very nit picky with make-up and every other product I will review because my readers deserve the best opinion. I am harsh on products because no one deserves to spend their well earned money.

High Beam from Benefit is a cream high lighter that comes in the form of a "nail polish" bottle. So the general idea in highlighting is to at a little glow to your face. This product definitely does that. I only have this highlighter from benefit because the pink silvery hue looks great on my skin tone NC30-35. Pros It is cute packaging, It is not hard to apply. Cons If you don't use a light hand you will look like a disco ball. I love this product I first bought it about 4 years ago and it still works amazingly. It is in a glass bottle that is very heavy duty because this highlighter travels alot with me. Also the product is creamy. Not to liquidy and not too stiff. It is pliable enough to be worked into the skin. So over all B+. Why a B+ after all the great reviews? First of all it cost more than 20 dollars. I will never ever finish this bottle in my life time. The uses for a liquid highlighter are endless. But for what it is work I think I would use a powder or cream highlighter more because liquid highlighters are tricky and can set if you don't work fast enough to BLEND. You can use this product with foundation for over all glow or on certain areas of your fact like the cupids bow ecccttt.....

L'oreal Youth Code Gel Cleanser is one of the best things to use to take off make-up. I have gone through so many products like heavy duty makeup removers and wipes and my skin always ended up dry. I bought this product at target $7.99 and it is a great drug store purchase. The whole youth code line from L'oreal is supposed to make skin look younger. This however for this cleanser it is not true. The cleanser claims to exfoliate to let radiant skin show through. This cleanser does not exfoliate your skin what so ever. But it does a good job of cleaning. It has a certain scent that bothered me at the beginning of my use but then I got used to the smell. It comes with 8.0 Fl oz and a nice and sanitary pump. I use this with my clarisonic and my neutrogena. This cleanser is also meant to take off make-up and it definitely does that job.  I already purchased a back up of this... it is handy to keep in the shower and takes off my face and eye make-up in one step. I give it an A- because the scent a classic L'oreal scent its not bothersome its just that my face smells really flowery afterwards. It removed water proof mascara!!  P.S. I got no rashes or weird reactions after using and I have this over a month now

Hello all most of you have seen my make your own makeup brush holder video that my sister posted up. I want your comments.. should I make you tube videos? Based on cosmetics, skincare, clothing, and do it yourself tutorials, health and well being, and tutoring. The reason that I am asking is because I am interested in doing this but I have no idea if anyone would watch. I am a college student and sorry if my intro into my blog seems boring. But I have just started this blog.. I think I am much more personable on video.. but I am not sure if anyone would watch... so please comment this post if you think I should make YT videos.

EOS Shaving Cream (Evolution of Smooth)

To tell you the truth I was not impressed with EOS Lip Balms that look like little eggs. and the EOS shaving cream was a little disappointing. I purchased this product in target expecting it to be awesome... and its not. The shaving cream isn't thick it has a watery cream consistency that  I don't really like. In my opinion the cream doesn't hold on to my leg hair and my legs don't feel smoother after I use this product. My legs just feel like I shaved. Skip buying this product because it doesn't moisturize or make or legs feel smoother. This product doesn't help the razor grab on to the hair better or feel like your "venus" legs have been immersed in some wonderful moisturizer. This just feels like your legs have runny goats milk on them... So skip it the smell is passable.. but not worth it... Grade.. D I like the smell but that's all I like about it.

Makeup Forever Aqua Cream.. Aqua Eyes eyeshadow

Makeup Forever or MUFE is a professional brand from paris. They specialize in theater makeup and are currently know for there famous Makeup Forever HD foundation. I have been wearing MUFE HD foundation for years so naturally I was curious about there Aqua cream shadows. I have swatch color number 13 in this blog post. Know I think these aqua creams are phenomenal they totally rock! They stay in place all day .. they are really water resistant and a litttle goes a long way. Problems are that every single color aqua cream is shimmery, and they can be splotchy and uneven at times, the product sets really fast so you have to be careful when you are blending. The colors are beautiful but the price really hits my purse pocket. Over all a C+.. all the colors in the line are versatile .. multifunctional for different skin tones, they are water resistant. But they are hard to blend.. come out splotchy if you don't blend fast, they can crease on me, and they are too shimmery when I want to do a matte look with minimal shimmer. This isn't a must have product but having one or two main colors in your makeup arsenal wouldn't hurt you that bad. These can only be found in sephora .... AHHHHH(so this is a hard product to get in some countries)

The Revlon Photo Ready Concealer is one of the worst things invented by Revlon. It is creamy and blendable..... but it has shimmmerrrr (AHHHH). Doesn't revlon know that if I have a pimple I don't want shimmer all over it? Doesn't revlon know that my dark circles don't want more attention because of the shimmer! Revlon Photo Ready has little tiny (unseen to the person buying the stick concealer) SHIMMER! and that's bad. The shimmer features a blue hue which makes me look like I have a blue zombie zit. It does nothing for my undereye circles but works well as a brow highlight. For the price I expected something matte... flattering.. and something that would diffuse attention. In my book this is a F.... sure it is creamy and blendable and the 003 color that I swatched is perfect for NC30 skin. But I can't get over the shimmer (they need to reformulate this) Bottom line I am going to have to keep this but I will keep you posted on what I will use this for in the future.

Revlon Cream Blush in Rosy Glow

This cream blush does not disappoint me at all it is so soft to the touch. Easy to blend and apply.... I love it. Rosy glow would suit lighter complexions as either a nice rosy.. slightly peach highlighter.. or a blush. I was so surprised when I tried this product because I didn't expect much from Revlon. To apply this product you have to used a stippling brush to get a natural look as well as to avoid patchiness. Dry skin.. beware this cream blush can accentuate dry cheek patches. Also becareful not to use a heavy hand... remember less is more. This compact also features a button that shows off a mirror. This is a wonderful addition to the compact. It comes with 3.4 grams of blush. Becareful not to leave this in your car because it can melt. You get a glowing finish with rosy glow and mild... very mild shimmer/ sheen effect on the cheeks. Over all B+... I love it but revlon only has two cream blush colors... only certain people can wear these blushes. My cheeks are dry in the winter and this blush can accentuate my dry patches if I don't moisturize. (It takes a lot of a product to gain A++ status... I am a rough grader) 

Sephora Touche Lumiere Lissante Smoothing & Brightening Concealer

Sephora has a YSL Touch Eclat twin. Well this twin sucks. I swatched the color medium 06 and medium 07. The consistency of this product is too liquidy for my taste. Also you need a lot of product in order to cover up dark circles. 06 is yellow based for a NC 30(mac) with  yellow toned skin. While the 07 is apricot based peach.. it can be used by a NC 30 but it will create a sallow looking appearance at the under eye area. I tried to find a YSL Touch Eclat dupe and this is definitely not it. The fact that you have to use so much product for this thing to work is not worth my money. It features the same brush application like the YSL Touch Eclat. The only difference is that instead of having a button to push at the bottom of the product you have a twisty top near the brush. I don't care for the finish of the product either it make your skin look dull and boring and doesn't do a good job of covering unless you layer it on. Overall impression a C-... I like the color selection but not the product consistency, staying power, or finish. Is it a cheap dupe for YSL touche eclat.. no is it worth a try yes.. if you don't have really bad under eye circles like me. (I blame college for my under eye circles .... ughh c++ classes)

I fell in to the hype with Almost Lipstick Black Honey. Contrary to popular belief the lipstick is not a universal color. My MAC NC 30 skin can not pull this color off. It is very pretty and feels glossy. It is sheer and to build color you have to give it a few passes. In the second picture you can see how patchy the color is because of the gloss in it. It does have a little shimmer that is very refined and unnoticeable because it is sheer. I would have to say that I am disappointed the hue of this lipstick is more of a dark organgy red color it is not as burgundy as it seems in the tube. Save you 14 dollars or go try it out in the store. It is moisturizing, non drying, looks like your lips have been pinched, but for this I would use a revlon lip butter. I can get two lip butters for the price of this lipstick. Over all a D... I can't get over the fact that this is similar to a revlon lip butter and the revlon lip butters are more flattering and come in more shades.

Pond Cold Cream The Cool Classic (deep cleans and removes makeup)... This is the worst three bucks I ever spent.... ever. I does the job it removes makeup and even tough mascara.I leaves your face feeling moisturized.. but the problem is after putting on the product how do you take it off? Well Ponds Cold Cream is really thick and in order to remove it the directions say to wash off with warm water. This cream leaves a thick oily residue behind on your face and instead of feeling clean and refreshed you feel like a whole bunch of nasty oil is lingering on your face. This product has mineral oil which is known to clog pores. I have had no break outs from it. I have used it extensively as you can see. I really tried to love it and it is a very gentle product I just can't get used to the horrible aftermath of greasiness that comes from the use of  this product. It took a lot for me to feel ungreasey after using this product I had to scrub my face. What this product does is that it works like Vaseline basically oil mixed with make up will remove the makeup and leave residue behind. D... the product works... I just hate the after math which is horrible

I recently got into false nails and I figured this would be a good starter kit for those who want to give it a try. Broadway Nails Fast French Deceptions comes with 24 nails and 12 different sizes. I took the short version of these nails because I need to go to work and school so long nails for me would get stuck on my keyboard. However this short length nail is manageable. The Broadway Deception pack nails feature the natural moon at the base of the nail... the white semicircle.. that makes the nail seem more natural. I bought this pack at walgreens for 7 dollars. The kit comes with a glue that has a pink color to it for a natural finish. The nails are glossy and make your hands look very delicate. A word of warning the glue to hold the nail isnt very strong. My pinky nail fell off and I had to glue it back. Also warm water in my opinion seems to soften around my nail and up close to me it doesn't look very natural. After day 4 of wearing these nails and doing house work you will notice that they feel a bit flimsy. I can blame this on not using enough glue or that the glue isn't strong enough. Over all C- they look really pretty, glossy and shiny, but after a week of wear and tear they start to feel like if they might snap off. For the working woman this is unacceptable for the price I want something that can last at least three weeks. I want to save on a manicure not spend more on one. For the price you get enough nails to last at least two applications. * The nails don't chip and stay true to color

Wet n Wild Taupe swatch

If you are like me ... you have to shade in your eyebrows to define them. I recently discovered Wet n Wild coloricon brow and eyeliner crayon. This pencil is long so for me it is very easy to control. I have the color 648 Taupe which is like a medium ash brown color. Now I have dark black eyebrows and this color matches me perfectly. * the rule is that if you go too dark with your brow pencil you will end up looking like a cartoon. This pencil is easy to apply, a breeze to sharpen, and because when you apply the pencil it becomes a little waxy with the warmth of your skin your eyebrows stay in place. The pencil comes in various shades and I prefer not to use them on my eyes. They receive a A- because they are affordable,easy to find in drugstores, not tested on animals, have a huge color range, but I don't like the fact that once it comes into contact with my skin it can turn waxy. For the money you get a lot of product.

I love this mini brow kit. It can literally fit in the palm of my hand. The brow kit features the perfect kit for people with darker eyebrows. It comes with a brush,a mini tweezer, and side mirror. The product itself features a wax and a light and dark brow powder. I have the kit in ash brown and I believe it is perfect for people with dark hair. The other kit called "brown", and "light" are just for my taste too much of a red tone powder. The ash brown is neutral and I use the lighter powder in the start of my brows and the darker powder at my arch to add emphasis. I attached photos. In my opinion this deserves an A- great product for the powders, they need a bigger shade selection, the wax is horrible ( just get clear eyebrow gel), awesome price, easy to find, great small packaging.

Sonia Kashuk Velvety Matte Lip Crayon

Do you want to draw on perfect lips? Try the Sonia Kashuk Velvety Matte Lip Crayon. They are amazing they lip crayons are so smooth just like their names. Unfortunately you won't find a flaming red or a hot pink in this lip liner collection, the main focus of this collection is matte nude lips. So people that love natural lips, nude lips, matte pink, and berry lips should be interested in this lip crayon. You can put the crayon and a little bit of gloss and be ready to go out the door. As for staying power because it is so smooth it only stays on for 6 hours at the most but it doesn't smudge up badly against those wine glasses. The smell however is not so great it smells a little like bad medicine. The taste (because whatever we use as lip gloss, lipstick... ect we eat) is not horrible because it doesn't taste like anything. Personally this receives a B-. A great product, but overpriced, doesn't really last as long as I would like, smells funny, great color pay off, a great color selection. These shades contain no shimmer what so ever and to me they are non drying. They can be found in target.

Revlon Lip Butters

By now we all have heard about Revlon's Lip Butters. I am here to say that they are fantastic. They are creamy and... well buttery. They taste really good and to me have a vanilla scent similar to mac lipsticks. They are very sheer and give a my lips but better appearance. Some shades are sparkly while others have a nice gloss/ matte finish.  The gold sparkle can be found in shades like berry smoothie, and peach parfait (see the sparkle on my hand in the picture). While the  opaque glossy/matte finish can be found in a shade like raspberry pie(almost no sparkle in raspberry pie). The sparkle in most of the revlon lip butters is small and minimal and should not cause lips any discomfort because of the balm texture of the lip butters. These lip butters might as well replace lipsticks because they are awesome. Smooth and buttery. Shades I recommend to try are of course Red Velvet and Creme Brule. The revlon lip butters when applied more than once will become even more opaque. In each swatch of the three different lip butters I own I did a heavy application so that the true color can emerge in photo.B+ the lip butters are awesome but I love cream finishes its a matter of opinion because people that love sparkle will love this product.
